Our client, NETS International, is seeking a Cisco Umbrella Security Engineer for a RACI Database in Mumbai, India.

Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain Cisco Umbrella security solutions, including policy creation, DNS filtering, and threat intelligence integration.
- Develop and manage a Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI) database to effectively document and track security responsibilities related to Cisco Umbrella.
- Analyze security events and logs from Cisco Umbrella to identify and mitigate threats, providing insightful reports and recommendations.
- Automate security tasks and workflows using scripting and API integrations to improve efficiency and response times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, network engineers, and security analysts, to troubleshoot issues, implement security policies, and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all Cisco Umbrella configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities and proactively recommend and implement security enhancements.
Required Qualifications- 1+ years of experience in network security with a strong focus on Cisco Umbrella.
- Proven experience with DNS security principles and concepts.
- Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security protocols.
- Experience with security policies and their implementation.
- Experience with RACI matrix creation and management.
- Strong proficiency in database management.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and API integration.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with other security tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+).
- Fluency in Urdu, in addition to English.
