Cisco Senior / Expert Routing & Switching Engineer
Location: Remote (India)
Experience: 6–8 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days
Work Timing: IST with EST overlap (during migrations)
Technical Skills Required
- Work on Data Center migration projects focused on Cisco Nexus (non-ACI) environments.
- Design and implement HLD, LLD, migration plans, and runbooks.
- Handle Cisco Nexus (9K/7K/5K/2K), Catalyst switches, and routing platforms.
- Manage installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of L2/L3 technologies (vPC, VLAN, VRF, STP, HSRP/VRRP).
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS).
- Good understanding of VXLAN EVPN in Data Center environments.
- Experience with DC migration, hardware refresh, and minimal downtime cutovers.
- Exposure to automation tools like Ansible is a plus.
- Certifications such as CCNP / CCIE / DCCOR preferred.
