About the role
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers who are focused on developing AI models and systems to defend against cyber threats. You will work closely with security analysts, security researchers, and incident response teams to understand the nature of emerging cyber threats and develop innovative AI-powered solutions to detect, mitigate, and respond to those threats. You will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the AI Defense team, establishing research priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact projects that drive measurable improvements in Cisco's overall security posture.
