Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Manager focused on compensation is responsible for producing financial and market intelligence related to compensation data by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. This role involves identifying data patterns and trends, synthesizing business intelligence to support compensation strategies, and providing actionable insights to leadership. The manager will oversee the development and maintenance of compensation-related dashboards, reports, and tools, ensuring data quality and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate standard and custom reports summarizing compensation, business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, and stakeholders.
Analyze compensation data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact pay strategies.
Develop and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting systems focused on compensation.
Collaborate with Compensation Solutions and Intelligence teams to support compensation planning and one-time payment processes.
Manage the timely flow of compensation-related business intelligence information to users.
Provide technical support for existing compensation reports and dashboards.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders to inform compensation decisions.
Ensure compliance with compensation policies and approval processes.
Lead change management initiatives related to compensation data systems and processes.
Utilize AI and advanced analytics tools to automate data preparation, enhance pattern recognition, and improve predictive analytics for compensation forecasting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and compensation management.
Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
Experience with compensation systems and processes, including Workday and compensation case management.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in business intelligence, including automated data preparation, natural language querying, and predictive analytics.
Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Familiarity with compensation policies, approval workflows, and compliance requirements.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data storytelling capabilities.
