Circle of Care St. Louis is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Client & Caregiver Manager to oversee daily home care operations. This role is responsible for caregiver recruitment, scheduling, time tracking, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and caregivers.
This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Client & Caregiver Manager ensures that all clients receive consistent, high-quality care by maintaining proper staffing, supporting caregivers, and addressing client needs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service reliability, caregiver accountability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Recruitment & Onboarding
- Recruit, screen, and interview qualified caregivers
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates
- Conduct onboarding and ensure all hiring requirements are met
Scheduling & Staffing
- Create and manage caregiver schedules for all client cases
- Fill open shifts and respond to call-offs promptly
- Ensure consistent coverage with minimal disruptions
- Match caregivers appropriately based on client needs
Time Tracking & Compliance
- Track and verify caregiver hours weekly
- Ensure accurate documentation for Medicaid services
- Monitor service hours to ensure compliance with care plans
Caregiver Management
- Maintain regular communication with caregivers
- Address attendance, performance, and reliability issues
- Reinforce expectations around scheduling and accountability
- Support caregiver retention and engagement
Client Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients and families
- Conduct regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction
- Address and resolve service concerns in a timely manner
- Ensure care plans are being followed correctly
Requirements
- Experience in home care, healthcare, or staffing coordination preferred
- Strong scheduling, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation
Attendance & Performance Expectations
- Must be highly reliable and responsive
- Ability to manage scheduling needs, including urgent or after-hours situations when necessary
- Strong accountability in managing caregiver attendance and coverage
