Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cinematographer role based in Bengaluru. The Cinematographer will be responsible for planning and executing video shoots, including selecting camera setups, framing shots, and coordinating with directors and creative teams to achieve the desired visual style. Daily tasks include operating cameras, setting up lighting, collaborating with production staff, and ensuring consistent visual quality across marketing videos, social media content, and branded films. The role involves overseeing the technical aspects of film and video production, maintaining equipment, and contributing creative input to storyboards and shot lists. The Cinematographer will also work closely with editors to ensure footage aligns with project objectives and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Camera Operation and Cinematography, with the ability to translate creative concepts into effective visual storytelling.
- Hands-on experience in Video Production and Film Production, including planning shoots, managing timelines, and collaborating with production teams.
- Proficiency in Lighting techniques for studio and on-location shoots, with a solid understanding of how to create mood, depth, and clarity.
- Familiarity with professional video cameras, lenses, and supporting gear; basic knowledge of editing workflows and post-production coordination.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and adapt to fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or visual communication is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is strongly beneficial.
