This position involves creating coordinated, accurate, and comprehensive design and construction drawing packages that facilitate seamless coordination among all trades and ensure precise construction. </div><div> </div><div>This position will be full time at the beautiful CinemaTech showroom. They will meet with clients in person and virtually. </div><div> </div><div>The CinemaTech design team is involved from initial design to delivery of the project. The position requires a unique combination of design skills, sales and client skills and ability to project manage/stay organized. This position will support the showroom and keeping it maintained for showroom visits. </div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></div><ul>
<li>Meet with Clients in Showroom and assist in design and sales of project.</li>
<li>Use AutoCAD to create detailed construction drawings in 2D, with the ability to do 3D, if needed. </li>
<li>Help oversee success of design projects from design to delivery. </li>
<li>Sell and deliver job and exceed client expectations – goal is always to get the referral.</li>
<li>Assist Design team with drawing production. </li>
<li>Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy of plans. </li>
<li>Revise drawings as needed to accommodate changes and updates. </li>
<li>Produce accurate and detailed quantity take-offs for materials and labor. </li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions. </li>
<li>Convert 2D drawings to 3D models and vice versa as needed. </li>
<li>Utilize strong project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, and up to company standards. </li>
<li>Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously. </li>
</ul><div> </div><div><strong>Qualifications: </strong></div><ul>
<li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design-related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred. </li>
<li>Strong sales and client communication skills is a must.</li>
<li>Construction Administration / Management preferred. In fieldwork experience is a plus. </li>
<li>Mechanical / HVAC knowledge or experience is a plus. </li>
<li>Background in Interior Design or Audio/Video related field is a plus. </li>
<li>High end residential construction experience is a plus. </li>
<li>Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD is a must, and 3D AutoCAD is a plus. </li>
<li>Experience with 3Ds MAX, SketchUp, and Photoshop a plus but not required. </li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of CAD standards. </li>
<li>Understanding of and affiliation with AES, SMPTE, CEDIA, AIA, AUGI is a plus. </li>
<li>Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes. </li>
<li>Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to address inquiries and concerns professionally.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work independently or with a team, managing time effectively. </li>
