Role Description The Cinema Team Leader at GREEN OVEN BAKERS is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role oversees daily operations at the cinema outlet, including supervising front-of-house staff, managing bakery and snack counters, and ensuring timely, accurate service to all guests. The Cinema Team Leader coordinates staff schedules, assigns tasks, monitors performance, and supports training to maintain service and hygiene standards. The role involves handling customer queries and concerns, managing cash and basic inventory records, and ensuring the outlet is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with safety and food-handling guidelines. The Cinema Team Leader also collaborates with management to implement promotions, track sales targets, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the cinema food service area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, food service, retail, or cinema operations, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong team leadership abilities, including staff coordination, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues calmly and professionally.
- Basic understanding of cash handling, billing, and point-of-sale (POS) systems, with attention to accuracy and accountability.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and cleanliness standards in a bakery or food service environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on cinema and outlet schedules.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage peak periods and multiple priorities.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management training is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced on-site environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
