Role Description The DevOps role at PPStack is a full-time remote position responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our digital learning platforms and services. Day-to-day activities include designing and maintaining CI pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring reliable integration between applications and services. The role involves managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, monitoring system performance, and improving scalability and availability in cloud or hybrid environments. The DevOps professional collaborates with software developers, data and AI teams, and product stakeholders to streamline delivery processes, enhance security and compliance, and support rapid experimentation and feature releases. This role also contributes to documentation, incident response, and continuous improvement of operational practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support end-to-end delivery.
- Candidates should possess solid experience with Continuous Integration practices and tooling to design, maintain, and improve automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Candidates should possess hands-on expertise with Kubernetes to manage containerized workloads, orchestration, scaling, and service reliability.
- Candidates should possess advanced Linux skills for system administration, scripting, troubleshooting, and secure environment management.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative communication skills, and a commitment to security, reliability, and automation in a fast-evolving EdTech environment are highly valued.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering, is preferred.
