Your New Role
Pay Range: $51,800 - $61,000 / annually; based on experience.
Hours: Varied schedule Monday-Friday with ability to support weekend shifts, when required.
Location: The Multi-Unit Fitness Manager will be responsible for the following locations
- Chuze Westside
- Chuze Oakleaf
- Chuze Mandarin
Responsibilities:
The Multi-Unit Fitness Manager (FM) leads the operational, cultural, and performance success of fitness departments across assigned club locations. This role drives results through team development, high-quality programming, and consistent execution of Chuze standards.
The FM ensures exceptional member experiences by developing a high-performing team of Fit Pros, working with cross-functional club departments to ensure operational alignment, and maintaining an active, onsite presence across all the assigned clubs.
- Own development of multiple fitness teams, recruiting incredible new talent for your team, and fostering continuous growth through authentic conversations, coaching documentation, career pipelining, and training
- Foster a hospitable environment for all members and guests, acting as a fitness ambassador to provide information on programs and offers, club amenities, and equipment functions, maintaining accountability for fitness performance
- Build and manage staffing schedules, balancing labor targets, payroll, instructor availability, and member demand to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Oversee fitness programming across assigned clubs, evaluating for class quality and consistency, minimizing disruptions to the member experience by securing sub coverage or teaching classes or sessions as needed
- Ensure assigned clubs meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring successes in participation, labor efficiency, and programming effectiveness
- Work in close collaboration with the DFM initiatives, events, and programming strategies, leveraging localized club insights and collaboration with Operations for successful execution
- Identify trends and implement action plans to improve performance, engagement, and operational consistency
- Establish and maintain strong cross-departmental communication and rapport with Operations, Maintenance, and Home Office departments and processes

Your Skills:
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in leadership or team management experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Fitness Professional with a current nationally recognized certification (NASM, NSCA, ACSM)
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, with regular ability to visit assigned Chuze business units, subject to ADA accommodations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and cultivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and basic audio/visual equipment
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities across multiple locations
- Capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback
Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related fitness field
- Bilingual in Spanish
Physical Abilities:
- Read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Ability to lead and participate in high-intensity fitness activities and classes
- Walking or climbing stairs
- Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Phone and computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
