Located just off Interstate 93 in Salem, the future home of the Rockingham Grand Casino is currently undergoing an exciting large-scale construction and build-out. This highly anticipated project is transforming into what is expected to become one of the most sought-after gaming and entertainment destinations in the region.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to oversee safety and security operations at an active construction site for the future site of Rockingham Grand Casino, with additional responsibilities supporting Chasers Poker Room operations- when needed. This role requires strong observational skills, integrity, and the ability to adapt between a construction environment and a customer-facing gaming floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Construction Site Security Duties:

· Monitor and control access to the construction site, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.

· Conduct regular patrols of the site to prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, or safety violations.

· Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or suspicious activity.

· Enforce site safety rules and report unsafe conditions or behaviors.

· Coordinate with site management and local authorities when necessary

Poker Room Duties:

· Provide a visible security presence in the poker room to deter misconduct and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

· Monitor player activity for disputes, cheating, or suspicious behavior.

· Assist in resolving conflicts between patrons professionally and calmly.

· Enforce the poker room policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.

· Escort cash, chips, and sensitive materials as required.

· Respond to incidents such as disorderly conduct, intoxication, or rule violations.

· Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining authority and professionalism.

Performs other related duties as assigned. Once Rockingham Grand is open Duties can include similar duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and observational skills in analyzing video footage
Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of video surveillance software, database management, and basic networking concepts
Ability to multitask and respond to telephone and radio traffic

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational or technical certifications in related field
One year of experience in surveillance, security, or related field
Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

The employee will be required to sit and remain stationary for extended periods of time.

The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and customer volume.
