With our product already gaining traction, Chronicle is on the cusp of significant growth. We’re seeking a talented and entrepreneurial SaaS Growth Engineer to join our team and help propel us to new heights.
The Role:
As a SaaS Growth Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the growth strategy for Chronicle. This position combines technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and business insight. The role involves developing growth-centric features and managing product and website analytics. You'll run experiments, analyse data, and deploy growth tactics to boost product adoption and drive revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Build foundational Growth infrastructure for running experiments, tracking user behaviour and engaging users.
- Deliver experiments end-to-end, from ideation to analysis, with velocity and quality to move core business metrics
- Understand our users to understand key points in the customer journey and uncover insights that will drive activation and engagement
- Design and conduct A/B testing and other experiments to refine user experiences and increase conversion rates.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritise and implement changes based on customer feedback and data insights.
- Analyse performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to drive growth and improve operations.
- Explore new channels and methods for customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
- Stay current with trends in growth hacking and SaaS product strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- [Critical] Growth Engineering experience at another company. You are comfortable iteratively testing product flows using A/B testing to understand customer behaviour and make data-informed decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics, or relevant tools).
- Thoughtful problem-solving: Problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
- Experience in running and interpreting A/B tests and other growth experiments.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work proactively and Independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- A history of successful growth initiatives that have significantly impacted business metrics.
