Role Description The Chromatography Specialist - Technical Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves promoting and selling chromatography instruments, consumables, and related lab solutions to existing and prospective customers, including labs, research institutions, and industrial clients. The specialist will conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application discussions to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Day-to-day activities include managing the sales pipeline, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and coordinating order fulfillment in collaboration with internal teams and vendor partners. The role also includes providing front-line technical support, responding to customer queries, ensuring high levels of customer service, and maintaining long-term relationships through regular visits and communication.
Qualifications
- Technical Sales and Sales skills to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, for chromatography and laboratory products.
- Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, present solutions clearly, and respond effectively to customer needs.
- Technical Support skills to understand chromatography applications, troubleshoot basic issues, and liaise with manufacturer support teams when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
- Experience working with chromatography systems (e.g., HPLC, GC) and laboratory workflows is highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally for customer visits, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficiency in standard office productivity tools and basic CRM or sales tracking software.
