Role Description
We are actively seeking a talented Chocolatier (CDP, Sous Chef) for a full-time on-site position in Mumbai. This role involves overseeing the chocolate-making process, experimenting with innovative recipes, and maintaining product quality standards. Responsibilities include creating diverse chocolate products, managing raw materials and inventory, collaborating with the product development team to deliver unique offerings, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards. The Chocolatier will also play a key role in training and mentoring junior staff and ensuring optimal efficiency in production operations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in chocolate-making techniques, including tempering, molding, and decorating
- Proficiency in recipe development, food presentation, and flavor pairing
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control processes
- Experience with inventory management and production efficiency
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on creativity, precision, and innovation
- Prior experience working in a professional kitchen or chocolate production environment preferred
- A culinary degree or certification in a relevant field is an asset
