Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chinese Translator at Huake Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., located in Chennai. The Translator will facilitate effective communication between Chinese and Indian teams by accurately translating written and verbal content from Chinese to English and vice versa. Key responsibilities include supporting documentation needs, interpreting business meetings, and ensuring the linguistic and cultural accuracy of translations. The role also involves maintaining glossaries and staying updated with industry-specific terminology to ensure precise translations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English with excellent written and spoken skills.
- Strong translation and interpretation skills, including document translation and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of technical and industry-specific terminology, with the ability to translate engineering, manufacturing, and cleanroom-related content.
- Attention to detail for ensuring accuracy in translations and the ability to maintain cultural sensitivity in communication.
- Competence in time management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Previous experience in translation services or relevant fields is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese language, translation, or related fields would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with the purification or cleanroom industry is a plus.
