About Rosae
Rosae is an emerging Indian luxury beauty startup inspired by timeless elegance, heritage, and modern femininity. We are building a premium beauty brand with a global vision, developing products across makeup, packaging, and beauty accessories with international manufacturing partners.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Chinese Operations & Supply Chain Intern to support us in sourcing, supplier communication, and coordination across China.
Role Overview
You will work directly with the founders and product team to manage communication with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers for packaging, components, and beauty product development.
This role is ideal for someone who:
* Is interested in beauty, luxury brands, packaging, or supply chain
* Wants exposure to a fast-growing Indian startup
* Is comfortable communicating with suppliers and managing multiple moving parts
* Can bridge communication between Chinese manufacturers and our India-based team
Location: Remote (China-based preferred)
Duration: 3–6 months, with possibility of extension
Working Style: Flexible / Part-time or Full-time
Key Responsibilities
* Research, identify, and reach out to Chinese suppliers, manufacturers, and packaging companies on behalf of Rosae
* Communicate with vendors via email, WeChat, calls, and online meetings
* Help source packaging, components, materials, and product development partners for luxury beauty products
* Coordinate quotations, MOQs, timelines, samples, shipping details, and production updates
* Compare supplier options and prepare summaries of pricing, capabilities, and recommendations
* Translate and facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking suppliers and the Rosae team
* Follow up consistently with vendors to ensure timely responses and smooth project execution
* Support negotiations and maintain supplier relationship records
* Assist in managing the supply chain and development process for beauty products and packaging in China
* Coordinate sample shipments and track production schedules
* Visit prospective factories, suppliers, or packaging companies in China when required
* Accompany the Rosae team during China Beauty Expo meetings and supplier visits
* Take notes during meetings, help with translation, and support coordination on-ground
Preferred Background
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Marketing, Beauty, Fashion, or a related field
* Strong interest or prior experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, packaging, luxury, or manufacturing
* Previous internship or experience working with suppliers, sourcing, operations, or trade is a plus
* Familiarity with Chinese manufacturing ecosystems, Alibaba, packaging suppliers, or cosmetic suppliers is preferred
Skills Required
* Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
* Comfortable following up with suppliers and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
* Able to work independently in a remote setup
* Strong research and negotiation skills
* Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and email communication
* WeChat and Alibaba familiarity preferred
