Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chinese DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) Hotel Centre Point located in Nagpur. The role involves assisting in the preparation of authentic Chinese dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing inventory, and ensuring food quality standards are met. The Chinese DCDP will collaborate with the kitchen team, contribute to menu planning, and help maintain consistency in taste and presentation. The role also involves supervising junior staff and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Chinese cuisine, including authentic techniques, flavor combinations, and food presentation
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients and efficient kitchen operations
- Leadership skills to supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of professionalism and teamwork
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with the team and other departments
- Prior experience in a similar role in a fine dining restaurant or hotel is an advantage
- Culinary certification or equivalent experience in Chinese cooking techniques preferred
