Role Description The Chiller Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Jaipur Area. The technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial and commercial chillers, including inspection, calibration, cleaning, and component replacement. Daily work includes diagnosing faults, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out repairs to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals, monitoring system parameters, recording service activities, and coordinating with supervisors and project engineers. The technician will also follow safety procedures, support commissioning activities, and interact with clients and site teams in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC equipment, refrigeration cycles, and associated components.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in chiller and HVAC systems.
- Experience with routine and preventive maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, testing, and performance tuning.
- Comfort with using hand tools, measuring instruments, gauges, and basic diagnostic equipment safely and accurately.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.
- Awareness of workplace safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe handling of refrigerants and electrical systems.
- Relevant technical diploma, ITI, or vocational training in refrigeration, air-conditioning, mechanical, or electrical disciplines.
- Prior experience as a chiller or HVAC technician in commercial or industrial projects is highly beneficial.
- Reliable teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site, follow instructions, and complete tasks independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, attend emergency breakdowns, and travel to project sites within the Greater Jaipur Area and nearby regions when required.
