Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will be responsible for overseeing the organization's technology strategy, managing large-scale software development projects, and ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with business goals. Day-to-day tasks include leading the technology team, driving innovation, managing product development lifecycles, and establishing robust IT architecture practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development and expertise in leading technical teams to build innovative solutions
- Strong skills in Project Management, including planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects
- Experience in devising and implementing IT Strategy aligned with business objectives
- Expertise in Architecture design and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of technology frameworks
- Extensive knowledge of Product Development processes, from concept to deployment
- Leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in a senior-level IT leadership role, preferably in a technology-driven industry
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
