About ZenxAI
ZenxAI builds AI-powered automation for Indian SMEs — WhatsApp chatbots, AI voice agents, workflow automation, and custom AI systems — delivered at SME-friendly prices. Running on a lean, no-code-first stack, we ship client systems in 5–15 days while keeping 70–80% gross margins and generating recurring monthly revenue.
We're hiring a founding CTO to own the technology function as we move from founder-led delivery to a repeatable, scalable build process.
The Role
You'll be a technical co-founder-level hire responsible for architecture, delivery, and — eventually — team-building. You'll work directly with the founder, turning client requirements into shipped automations, building reusable systems that make each new client faster to onboard, and laying the technical foundation for ZenxAI to scale beyond a one-person build process.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end technical delivery for every client engagement — chatbots, voice agents, workflow automations, CRM integrations, and dashboards
- Build reusable templates and modules in Make.com and n8n so each new client takes less time than the last
- Design conversational flows in Voiceflow and voice AI agents in Vapi.ai for outbound calling, booking, and follow-ups
- Integrate and optimize LLM features using the OpenAI API and Claude API — prompting, RAG, agentic workflows, and cost/latency trade-offs
- Set up WhatsApp automation and 24/7 lead-capture systems via Wati/AiSensy
- Build CRM workflows in GoHighLevel, keeping leads, deals, and customer data in sync
- Architect Airtable-based data backbones and real-time AI dashboards for client-facing analytics
- Run technical documentation and team operations in Notion
- Set QA/testing standards so every build is production-stable inside the 5–15 day delivery window
- Recognize when a client's needs have outgrown the no-code stack and scope custom-coded solutions
- Eventually hire and lead a small engineering/automation team as ZenxAI scales
Must-Have Expertise
No-code / low-code automation - Make.com, n8n, Voiceflow, Vapi.ai, Airtable
AI / LLM integration - OpenAI API and Claude API (prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows)
Business systems - GoHighLevel (CRM), WhatsApp Business API via Wati or AiSensy, Notion
General
- Track record shipping automations, chatbots, or AI products fast, without over-engineering
- Comfortable scoping client requirements directly and owning a build solo when needed
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/Python for edge cases no-code tools can't cover
Nice to Have
- Experience selling or scoping technical work directly with SME clients
- Familiarity with the Indian SME market
- Prior experience as a technical co-founder or freelance automation consultant
- Exposure to custom, code-first development for when the stack outgrows no-code
