Real Is Rare. We're building the internet's verified-human layer — a place where every account belongs to a real, face-verified person. This is a founding seat with real ownership, not a job listing. I'm looking for a partner to build rarelm with me.
The problem we're solving
The modern internet runs on doubt. Investment and crypto scams. Romance and "pig-butchering" cons. Fake storefronts and shopping fraud. DM bots, comment bots, like-and-ghost bots. Millions of fake accounts. Follower farming and engagement farming inflating everything you see. rarelm's answer is radical and simple: verify the human first, then build everything on top of that trust.
What you'll own
- The full technical architecture: face-based authentication as the mandatory entry layer, identity verification, and the model behind Verified Human Accounts.
- The anti-abuse core — adversarial ML that detects and defeats bots, fakes, and coordinated farming faster than they evolve.
- Taking core product from prototype to production, and scaling it as our verified userbase grows.
- The early build-vs-buy, infra, and security calls that define our foundation.
- Building and leading the first engineering team, and setting the technical culture.
Who I'm looking for
- Strong in one or more of: adversarial ML / fraud and abuse detection, identity and auth (biometrics, face recognition, WebAuthn), or large-scale backend and security engineering.
- You've shipped production systems end to end — built, not just advised.
- Comfortable in pre-seed ambiguity: few resources, high ownership, fast decisions.
- Security-first, and you genuinely care about user privacy and trust.
- Ready to be the first engineer today and lead a team tomorrow.
Nice to have: computer vision, liveness detection / anti-spoofing, prior early-startup experience, familiarity with the Indian tech and regulatory landscape.
The deal
This is a founding co-founder role — meaningful equity and ownership, four-year vesting with a one-year cliff. Little-to-no cash in the early stage; we grow the runway together. We'll start with a short paid trial project so we both know the fit is real before we commit.
