Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and executing the overall technology vision and roadmap for Canviza Services Private Limited. The CTO will oversee software development initiatives, guide product and platform architecture, and ensure alignment between technology strategy and business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineering teams, prioritizing and managing technology projects, establishing coding and quality standards, and collaborating with product and business stakeholders on solutions and features. The CTO will evaluate and adopt appropriate tools, frameworks, and cloud services, manage IT governance and security practices, and monitor performance, scalability, and reliability across all systems. The role also involves representing the technology function in executive discussions, managing technology budgets, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusive leadership.
Qualifications
- Ability to lead and oversee Software Development teams, including experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and development best practices.
- Strong Project Management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.
- Expertise in IT Strategy, with a track record of aligning technology investments with business goals and growth objectives.
- Deep understanding of system and solution Architecture, including scalable, secure, and cloud-native designs.
- Experience in Product Development, working closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver user-centric technology solutions.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior technology role, preferably in a product or services-based company.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance best practices.
- Background in agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
