Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Safety Manager, based in Surat. The Chief Safety Manager will oversee occupational health and safety programs, manage safety training initiatives, ensure compliance with environment, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, and lead accident investigation procedures. The role involves collaborating with teams to integrate safety measures in ongoing projects and fostering a culture of safety at all organizational levels.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across projects
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations, client requirements, and industry standards
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at project sites
  • Identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for site teams
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on safety compliance matters

Client & Compliance Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all safety-related matters
  • Ensure strict adherence to client safety protocols and project-specific guidelines
  • Participate in client safety meetings, audits, and reviews
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports, risk assessments, and safety plans
  • Ensure all site activities meet legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • 12–15 years of experience in building construction projects (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in handling large-scale infrastructure/building safety operations
  • Strong knowledge of safety laws, risk management, and compliance standards
  • Good leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Must have all previous company experience letters/documents
