ABOUT I2GLOBAL
i2global is a fast-growing EdTech company committed to making quality education accessible to
every learner. Our online tutoring and course platform is gaining strong traction — and with a
mobile app in active development, we are entering our most exciting phase of growth yet. As we
scale, we are building a leadership team that can turn our learner momentum into sustainable,
predictable revenue. We are looking for a CRO who can own the full revenue engine and take
i2global to the next level.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Chief Revenue Officer at i2global, you will own everything that drives revenue — sales,
partnerships, pricing, upsell, and customer success. You will build the systems, teams, and
strategies that convert learner interest into enrolments, and enrolments into long-term
relationships. This is a role for a commercially sharp, people-driven leader who can build a high-
performance revenue culture from scratch and scale it rapidly in a competitive EdTech market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive i2global's total revenue targets — setting strategy, building plans, and delivering results
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team covering inside sales, field sales, and institutional business development
- Define and execute i2global's pricing strategy across courses, tutoring, subscriptions, and the mobile app
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and corporate training buyers
- Own the full sales funnel — lead generation, qualification, conversion, and post-sale expansion
- Build and lead the customer success function to drive learner satisfaction, renewals, and net revenue retention
- Introduce and scale revenue operations — CRM systems, sales playbooks, forecasting models, and pipeline reviews
- Collaborate closely with the CMO to align marketing demand generation with sales conversion goals
- Work with the CPO to ensure product packaging, pricing tiers, and features support revenue growth
- Design referral programmes, loyalty schemes, and upsell journeys that increase learner lifetime value
- Report on revenue performance, pipeline health, and sales metrics to the CEO and leadership team
- Represent i2global at industry events, partner meetings, and key client engagements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 8–14 years of experience in sales, business development, or revenue leadership — with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Proven track record of building and scaling revenue functions in a high-growth start-up or EdTech environment
- Experience selling directly to consumers (B2C) and to institutions or enterprises (B2B) in the education or tech space
- Strong commercial acumen — you understand unit economics, LTV, CAC, churn, and how to optimise all of them
- Hands-on experience building and managing sales teams, setting quotas, and coaching reps to success
- Data-driven leader — comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) and revenue analytics
- Excellent negotiator and relationship builder — you close large deals and nurture long- term partnerships
- Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives in lean, fast-moving environments and finds creative paths to revenue
- Strong cross-functional collaborator — you work seamlessly with marketing, product, and operations
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in EdTech, e-learning, or consumer subscription businesses in the Indian market
- Familiarity with app monetisation models — freemium, subscription, in-app purchases, and course bundles
- Prior experience setting up and scaling institutional or B2B sales in the education sector
- Exposure to fundraising, financial modelling, or revenue forecasting for investor reporting
- Network in the Indian education ecosystem — schools, colleges, EdTech communities, or government bodies
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN 90 DAYS
- A clear revenue plan for the next 6–12 months is documented, including targets, channels, and team structure
- CRM and sales pipeline are set up, adopted, and generating actionable insights
- The sales team has a defined playbook, quotas, and a weekly performance rhythm
- At least 3 institutional or strategic partnership conversations are initiated
- Customer success processes are in place with an initial NPS and renewal tracking system live
