Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven and strategic Chief Rate & Optimization Officer (CRO) to lead pricing, conversion rate optimization, and revenue growth for our D2C/e-commerce business. This role will focus on maximizing revenue and profitability by optimizing pricing strategies, improving website/app conversion funnels, and enhancing the overall customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute pricing strategies across product categories, bundles, and promotions
- Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) across website and mobile platforms
- Analyze customer behavior, traffic patterns, and purchase funnels to identify growth opportunities
- Drive A/B testing and experimentation for landing pages, checkout flows, and product pages
- Optimize discounting, offers, and promotional campaigns to balance growth and profitability
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams for demand planning and inventory optimization
- Monitor and improve key metrics such as conversion rate, AOV (Average Order Value), CAC, LTV, and cart abandonment rate
- Implement personalization and recommendation strategies to improve user experience and sales
- Identify revenue leakage points and optimize the end-to-end purchase journey
- Build dashboards and reporting systems for real-time performance tracking
Key Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in e-commerce, D2C, growth, or revenue optimization roles
- Proven track record of scaling online revenue and improving conversion rates
- Strong experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Tableau, etc.)
- Deep understanding of digital funnels, user behavior, and performance marketing
- Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, etc.)
- Strong commercial acumen with a balance of growth and profitability mindset
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus
