Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned to business growth plans across Renewable, Green Molecules, and biofuel verticals.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience.
- Build a future-ready procurement organization, including processes, systems, and talent.
Business Coverage
Lead Procurement For The Following Business Units
- Renewable EPC (solar/energy infrastructure)
- Green Molecules (Electrolyser, Ammonia, Hydrogen)
- Compressed Biogas (CBG)
Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end procurement across projects (capex, opex, and strategic sourcing).
- Develop and execute category strategies for key spends including equipment, EPC contracts, and services.
- Drive vendor development, qualification, and global sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate large and complex contracts with OEMs, EPC contractors, and key suppliers.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Collaborate with engineering, project execution, and finance teams to ensure on-time and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure procurement supports aggressive project timelines and execution milestones.
- Provide leadership in contract management, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish strong governance frameworks, compliance practices, and procurement policies.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical and commodity volatility.
- Leverage digital procurement tools and analytics for better decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of 5-6 direct reports and a broader procurement organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- B.Tech degree (full time) in Engineering. MBA will be highly preferable.
- 25+ years of overall experience, with at least 20+ years in Procurement and Supply Chain leadership roles.
- Proven experience in EPC Procurement within Renewable Energy is mandatory. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry will be an added benefit.
- Demonstrated track record of managing large-scale, complex sourcing portfolios across EPC projects.
- Experience operating in senior leadership.
- Strong experience in managing large teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of global supply markets for energy, EPC, and industrial equipment.
- Experience in building procurement functions within high-growth or transformation environments is preferred.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, ownership, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
