Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) – India will lead the overall operations of Syngrid's India business and serve as the CEO's representative in India. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, project delivery, organizational growth, business development, financial performance, and leadership development.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record as a Chief Operating Officer, Director, Vice President, or equivalent senior executive, with experience in scaling technology organisations, driving business growth, building high-performing teams, and supporting international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all India operations, including Software Development, Project Delivery, Customer Success, HR, Administration, Finance Coordination, Quality Assurance, and IT Infrastructure.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that support business growth, scalability, and organizational excellence.
- Ensure successful delivery of customer projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support business development, marketing, strategic partnerships, client presentations, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Establish governance frameworks, SOPs, KPIs, performance dashboards, and operational best practices.
- Manage operational budgets, resource utilization, profitability, and business performance.
- Build strong relationships with customers, resolve executive escalations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, information security, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular operational and strategic reports to the CEO and contribute to the company's long-term growth strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 18 years of professional experience with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles within IT Services, Software Development, Digital Transformation, or Technology Consulting.
- Proven experience as a COO, Director, Vice President, or equivalent executive with a successful track record of leading organizational growth, business expansion, and operational transformation.
- Experience managing technology organizations with 50+ employees and delivering enterprise software projects for international clients.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in operational management, financial oversight, business development, sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
