Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dehradun, responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving strategic growth for UK International London Beauty School. This role manages operational performance across academic programs, training centers, and support functions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with institutional goals. The COO will collaborate with the leadership team on business planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and financial oversight, while implementing processes that support scalability and student success. Key responsibilities include supervising operational staff, refining policies and procedures, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The COO will also support expansion initiatives, foster a culture of excellence and accountability, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Planning skills, including strategic thinking, goal setting, and implementation of growth initiatives.
- Proven Operations Management experience, with the ability to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and manage multi-site educational or service operations.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor performance metrics, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Solid Finance and Budgeting skills, including financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Extensive leadership and people management experience, with the ability to build, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating at executive and board levels.
- Background in education, vocational training, or service industries; experience in beauty, wellness, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as an MBA or a master’s degree in management, finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change, support organizational growth, and uphold high standards of quality and compliance.
