We are looking to hire a Chief Operating Partner to work closely with the Group leadership across a portfolio of 20+ consumer businesses spanning FMCG, D2C, and digital-first brands.
This role is designed for a strategy-to-execution leader—someone who has trained in top-tier consulting environments and transitioned into operating roles within high-growth consumer or internet-led businesses.
You will act as a force multiplier for founders and business CEOs, driving transformation, unlocking growth, and building scalable operating frameworks across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Value Creation
- Partner with CEOs/founders across businesses to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
- Identify and execute value creation levers across pricing, GTM, supply chain, and customer experience
- Drive cross-portfolio synergies (shared capabilities, vendor efficiencies, talent, tech)
2. Strategic Execution
- Translate strategic priorities into clear operating roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Lead transformation initiatives including digital acceleration, omnichannel expansion, and brand scaling
- Act as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring on-ground delivery
3. Operating Excellence
- Establish and institutionalize best-in-class operating rhythms, KPIs, and governance frameworks
- Build scalable playbooks across D2C, e-commerce, and offline distribution
- Improve unit economics, CAC/LTV, and working capital efficiency
4. Founder & Leadership Partnering
- Work closely with founders to solve complex business problems and drive decision-making
- Coach and mentor leadership teams across businesses
- Support in hiring, org design, and capability building
5. New Ventures & Scaling
- Evaluate and incubate new business opportunities within the consumer ecosystem
- Support market entry strategies, category creation, and brand building for emerging ventures
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 18+ years of experience with a strong blend of strategy consulting + operating experience
- Prior experience with top-tier firms such as:
- McKinsey & Company
- Boston Consulting Group
- Bain & Company
- Proven operating experience in:
- Consumer businesses (FMCG / Retail / Consumer Tech)
- D2C or digital-first / internet-led brands
- Strong track record of:
- Driving P&L ownership or business transformation
- Scaling businesses from early/growth stage to scale
- Working in high ambiguity, high growth environments
