Role Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee and manage the daily operations of 24Karatz to drive organizational efficiency and growth. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram requires active collaboration with executive leadership to implement strategic business plans, ensure operational excellence, and optimize resource allocation. The COO will monitor performance metrics, streamline processes, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the role involves leading multiple departments, developing key operational strategies, and fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
Qualifications
- Develop and execute the company’s overall business strategy in alignment with the Board and CEO
- Ensure full compliance with RBI regulations, NBFC guidelines, and statutory requirements
- Experience in Finance and Budgeting, including managing budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Act as a key liaison with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Monitor asset quality, NPAs, fraud risk, and portfolio performance across branches
- Standardize operational processes across all branches to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance
- Provide end-to-end supervision of all operational, financial, and administrative activities of the company.
- Looking for candidates with significant experience in Gold Loan being in NBFC or Banks.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role heading Gold Loan
- Proven experience in scaling branch-based financial services businesses.
- Prior involvement in fundraising, regulatory interactions, or IPO preparation is highly desirable
