Position: Chief Of Staff (COS)
Location: Rohini, New Delhi
Reporting To: Managing Director
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years of experience in operations, strategic planning, or project management Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Renewable Energy / EV / Any Other Relevant Industry
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Act as the execution engine of the MD Office, ensuring that:
- Strategic priorities are translated into measurable outcomes
- Cross-functional initiatives are driven with accountability
- Organizational execution speed, discipline, and visibility improves significantly
- This is not a support role — it is a high ownership, high accountability role.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- Reports to: Managing Director
- Works closely with: EA to MD, Program Managers, Functional Heads
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. MD Office Governance & Execution Control
- Convert MD priorities into weekly/monthly execution plans
- Run structured review cadences (WBR / MBR)
- Track key decisions → ensure closure, not discussion
- Prepare sharp, data-backed executive briefs
2. Strategic Initiative Ownership
- Own and drive company-wide strategic programs:
o Revenue scale-up initiatives
o EV / Solar expansion programs
o Cost optimization & margin improvement
o Clear ownership
o Defined timelines
o Measurable KPIs
- Act as single point of accountability for execution
3. Cross-Functional Alignment
o Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D
- Resolve execution bottlenecks in real time
- Drive alignment between department goals & company targets
4. Business Performance & KPI Tracking
- Design and monitor company-wide dashboards
- Track:
o Revenue vs target
o Project execution status
o Collections & working capital
o Operational efficiency metrics
o Risks
o Delays
o Underperformance → with action plans, not just reporting
5. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Identify process inefficiencies across functions
- Standardize workflows and introduce execution discipline
- Reduce:
o Delays
o Dependency gaps
o Manual inefficiencies
6. Digital & AI Transformation
o AI tools for reporting & decision-making
o Automation in workflows (HRMS, CRM, MIS, dashboards)
- Build data-driven decision culture
- Drive measurable improvements through digital initiatives
7. Leadership Influence & Stakeholder Management
- Act as extension of MD in execution forums
- Challenge function heads where needed (constructively)
- Ensure commitment → accountability → delivery cycle
SUCCESS METRICS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- % of strategic initiatives delivered on time (>85%)
- Reduction in decision-to-execution cycle time
- Improvement in cross-functional SLA adherence
- Measurable gains in:
o Revenue execution

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Must Have
- 5+ years experience in:
o Strategy / Operations / Program Management / Consulting

- Strong analytical thinking + structured problem solving
