About Zero Penny
Zero Penny is a Singapore-based performance marketing agency running paid media campaigns across TikTok, Meta, Google, and Taboola for clients across crypto, finance, and e-commerce. We're a lean, remote-first team that moves fast and builds systems to scale without bloat.
We don't hire managers. We hire people who make things work.
The Role
We're looking for a Chief of Staff who will be the eyes and ears of the company. This isn't a coordination role. This is an enforcement role.
You'll own three things:
- System Design — Build SOPs and operational processes from scratch when they don't exist, and rebuild them when they're broken.
- Enforcement — Ensure those systems are actually followed. When they're not, you step in immediately and fix it — not report it.
- Automation — Use Claude AI to build lightweight automations that make compliance structurally difficult to avoid.
You'll report directly to the CEO.
What You'll Do
- Audit existing processes across the team (ads managers, creatives, client communications) and identify every gap
- Write clear, actionable SOPs that a new hire can follow on day one
- Build Claude-based tools and automated workflows that enforce SOP compliance
- Monitor team output daily and catch breakdowns before they reach the CEO or the client
- Own Asana hygiene — tasks properly assigned, detailed, and closed out
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and ensure they're set up correctly from day one
- Flag broken systems immediately rather than working around them
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in operations, project management, or process design — ideally in a remote-first digital agency or startup
- Genuine comfort with AI tools, specifically Claude — you should be using it daily, not learning it
- Strong written communication — your SOPs and messages should be clear, direct, and unambiguous
- Detail-oriented to a fault — you notice what's missing, not just what's there
- Experience managing or enforcing accountability across a remote team
- No-code or automation thinking — you should be able to look at a manual process and immediately see how to systematise it
Bonus
- Experience with Asana, Slack, Hubstaff, Fireflies
- Background in digital advertising operations
- Experience in the Philippines, India, or Southeast Asia remote work environment
