About the Role
The COO owns the engine room of the business — P&L, GTM, Sales, growth, PMF, and service delivery. We're hiring a Chief of Staff to be the COO's force multiplier across this entire mandate: turning Strategy into execution, building the operating rigor to scale, and surfacing ground truth from across business teams and customer touchpoints.
This is not a coordination role. It's a high-ownership seat for someone who can run a problem-solving session on CAC one day, build a dashboard for performance the next, and walk into an offline center to mystery-audit the experience the day after. You'll get unmatched exposure to how a multi-channel, multi-product consumer business is actually run — and built to scale.
What You'll Own
1. Execution & Program Management: Translate the COO's priorities across GTM, sales, growth, and operations into clear execution plans with owners, timelines, and outcomes. Drive follow-through on every key initiative, intervene on blockers, and lead structured problem-solving when things go off-track. Run the operating cadence — reviews, 1:1s, business meetings — with sharp inputs, clear outputs, and committed next steps.
2. GTM & Distribution Support: Partner with the COO and business teams to sharpen and execute distribution strategy across organic (YouTube, SEO, direct) and paid channels. Build the tracking and review mechanisms that hold channel performance accountable, identify scaling opportunities, and ensure cross-functional partners (marketing, product, ops) deliver in sync.
3. Sales & Unit Economics: Build the visibility layer for inside sales performance - Collections, CAC, conversion, ASP, contribution margins. Run deep-dives where ROI is leaking, structure data-driven recommendations to improve sales productivity, and partner with sales leadership to translate insights into floor-level action.
4. Growth Initiatives & Operational Excellence: Drive cross-functional growth initiatives end-to-end on behalf of the COO — from pricing experiments and funnel optimization to process redesigns that improve efficiency metrics. Bring best practices, leverage AI and tech, and ensure initiatives ship with measurable impact, not just plans.
5. PMF, Strategy & Consumer Insights: Support the COO on outside-in and inside-out market analysis - competitive benchmarking, customer listening, segment-level insights - to refine PMF,
product offerings, and pricing. Synthesize signals from customer feedback, NPS, and on-ground observations into strategic recommendations that shape business direction.
6. Process Design & Operating Rigor: Design and implement structured processes, tracking systems, and execution frameworks across business teams. Bring discipline to how teams plan, execute, and review — and continuously refine the operating system so the business can scale without losing speed or quality.
7. Insights, Analytics & AI-led Systems: Build the visibility backbone across business performance and service delivery. Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for the metrics that matter, and leverage AI and automation to capture feedback signals, structure insights, and cut manual reporting effort — turning data into decisions, not decks.
8. Ground Truth & Quality Audits: Be the COO's eyes and ears on the ground. Visit offline centers (VLCs), experience the online product as a customer would, and run structured mystery audits to evaluate actual operating and service quality (a key NPS driver). Surface the gap between intended vs. actual performance with sharp, unfiltered recommendations.
9. Stakeholder Management & Org Alignment: Act as the bridge across business teams, functional leaders, partners, and the COO's office. Build clarity where there's noise, ensure alignment on priorities, and deliver synthesized, decision-ready updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
10. Strategic Problem Solving: Step into the messiest, highest-stakes problems across the business - whatever's blocking growth, hurting unit economics, or breaking in execution. Structure the problem, drive the analysis, and partner with business leaders to land the solution.
What We're Looking For
● 3–8 years experience in management consulting, growth, strategy & ops or Founder’s office at high-growth B2C startups
● Track record of driving execution end-to-end
● Strong first-principles thinking, structured problem-solving, and analytical horsepower; comfortable with data, dashboards, and AI tools
● High ownership and bias for action; willing to do center visits, mystery audits, and get hands dirty
● Exceptional written and verbal communication - can synthesize complexity into clarity
● Maturity and EQ to work across senior stakeholders without formal authority
Why This Role
You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the COO on the highest-leverage problems in the business - P&L, GTM, sales, PMF, and operational scale. It's a launchpad role for someone targeting business leadership or entrepreneurial roles within 2–3 years.
