One of our esteemed client (AI tech start-up) is looking hire Chief of staff and below is the role and expectations:
1. Founder’s Execution Arm
Translate founder vision into quarterly priorities and execution plans
Drive cross-functional initiatives end-to-end (Product, Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance)
Track key metrics and ensure accountability across teams
Eliminate bottlenecks before they become systemic problems
2. Firefighting & Problem Solving
Jump into critical issues — missed revenue targets, hiring gaps, delivery delays
Diagnose root causes, not surface symptoms
Build fast action plans and drive resolution
Handle ambiguity without waiting for perfect information
3. Operational Excellence
Improve internal processes for speed, clarity, and efficiency
Build dashboards, operating cadences, and reporting structures
Drive OKRs and performance tracking rigorously
Reduce friction across teams
4. Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking
Understand revenue drivers, cost structures, margins, and cash flow
Support fundraising, board prep, and investor updates when required
Evaluate new business opportunities with data-backed insights
Ensure decisions are commercially sound, not emotionally driven
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work with senior stakeholders without ego
Align conflicting priorities and drive consensus
Influence without authority

Must-Haves
3–8 years of experience in startups, consulting, operations, product, or strategy
Proven track record of driving execution across teams
