Grow with Libra 🚀
Chief of Staff- Bengaluru (Full-Time, On-Site)
Who We Are Libra AI is building the operating system for how work actually happens in 2026. We're not another productivity tool. We're an AI-first WorkOS that connects your tools, data, and workflows into one intelligent layer. Think of it as giving every team their own AI chief of staff. (Yes, the irony isn't lost on us.)
We're early, ambitious, and moving fast. If you want a front-row seat to how a company gets built from zero, and you want your fingerprints on the decisions that shape it, keep reading.
What This Role Actually Is This isn't a glorified EA role. This isn't "manage the CEO's calendar." This is: you and the founder, thinking through every hard problem the company faces, and then making sure the right things actually happen.
You'll be the pair thinker and the pair executor. The person who can zoom out to strategy in the morning and zoom into a spreadsheet by lunch. The one who doesn't need to be told what to do next, because you already see it.
What You'll Actually Do
- Be the founder's second brain. Sit in on every critical decision: fundraising, hiring, GTM, product priorities. Pressure-test ideas. Fill the gaps the founder can't get to. Think two steps ahead.
- Turn ambiguity into action. We're early-stage. Half the problems don't have a playbook. You'll take a vague "we need to figure this out" and come back with a plan, a timeline, and a first draft.
- Own cross-functional execution. Investor decks. Hiring pipelines. Financial models. Partnership outreach. Whatever the highest-leverage problem is this week, that's your problem.
- Build the operating rhythm. Help design how this company runs: meetings, planning cycles, reporting, internal comms. You'll create the systems that let a small team punch way above its weight.
- Drive special projects end-to-end. One week it's modeling runway scenarios for a fundraise. The next it's building an outreach tracker for 1,000+ leads. The next it's structuring a new hire's onboarding. Nothing is beneath you; everything is a learning opportunity.
- Be the glue. Between engineering, growth, design, and the founder, you make sure nothing falls through the cracks and everyone's rowing in the same direction.
You Might Be Our Person If:
- You've done 1-3 years at a place that broke you in. VC (analyst side), management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or similar), or you were an early operator at a startup where you had to figure things out with no safety net. You've seen what rigour looks like and you bring it.
- An MBA is a bonus, not a requirement. If you have one, great. If you don't, you've probably learned the same lessons the hard way, by building something, breaking something, or both.
- You have raw horsepower. You process fast, write fast, decide fast. You don't need three meetings to form a view. You can context-switch between a financial model and a hiring scorecard without losing a beat.
- You're action-first. Your instinct is to do, not to deck. You'd rather ship a rough version today than a polished one next week. You close loops. You don't let things sit.
- You think like an owner. You don't wait for permission. You see a problem, you flag it, you fix it, or you come with three options and a recommendation.
- You're comfortable with numbers and narratives. You can build a model and tell the story behind it. You can write a crisp investor update and a sharp internal memo in the same afternoon.
- You're not precious about scope. Today it's strategy. Tomorrow it's ops. Thursday it's booking a venue for a team offsite. You care about what moves the company forward, full stop.
What You'll Get
- The highest-leverage seat in the building. You'll see every part of the company, work on every type of problem, and learn more in a year than most people do in five.
- Real ownership from day one. You'll own outcomes, not tasks. When something ships, your name is on it.
- Early-stage equity. We're building something big. You should benefit when we win.
- A direct line to the founder. No layers. No politics. Just real conversations about real problems, every day.
- Bengaluru energy. On-site, in-office, surrounded by people who love what they do.
Sound Like You? Send us your resume to gokul@trylibra.ai and a short note telling us:
- A time you took something from ambiguous to done, and what you learned
- What you'd want to dig into first if you started at Libra tomorrow
- We're not looking for a polished cover letter. We're looking for the person who reads this and thinks, "finally."
