Job details:
We are in high-growth mode: signing dozens of new properties, forming strategic partnerships, creating new hotel brands and scaling across key Indian markets with an asset-light model. This is a rare opportunity to be the strategic right-hand to a second-generation hotelier who is passionate about hospitality, technology, F&B, innovation, and building iconic brands.
As Chief of Staff, you will serve as the Founders trusted partner, force multiplier, and operator. You will help translate bold vision into flawless execution across strategy, projects, stakeholder management, and day-to-day leadership priorities. This is not a traditional EA role — it is a high-impact strategic and operational position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
Act as a thought partner to the founder on business strategy, brand building, new project development, partnerships, and long-term vision. Help prioritize initiatives and drive cross-functional alignment.
Project & Initiative Leadership:
Own and oversee high-priority projects — from hotel openings and brand launches to technology integrations, investor/partner presentations, and expansion pipelines. Ensure timely delivery with excellence.
Executive Operations:
Manage the founders calendar, travel, and high-stakes meetings with precision. Prepare briefs, presentations, reports, and follow-ups. Anticipate needs and remove obstacles proactively.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
Serve as a key liaison with internal teams (operations, development, sales, finance, marketing), board members, investors, partners, and external stakeholders. Draft high-quality communications, speeches, and updates.
Special Projects:
Lead or support initiatives in innovation, technology adoption in hospitality, sustainability, F&B concepts, and real estate development.
Organizational Effectiveness:
Help build scalable systems, improve processes, foster collaboration across the group, and support leadership team effectiveness as we scale rapidly.
Travel Readiness:
Willingness to travel across India for site visits, openings, and key meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
- 6–12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, operations, consulting, project management, or Chief of Staff / Executive Support roles.
- Background in hospitality, real estate, consumer brands, startups, or high-growth services businesses is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects and working directly with C-level or founder-level executives.
Skills & Traits:
- Exceptional strategic thinking paired with meticulous execution and attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and ability to build trust quickly.
- Tech-savvy with comfort using modern tools (project management, AI productivity tools, data dashboards).
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, pace, and ownership in a high-growth environment.
- Passion for hospitality, luxury/lifestyle experiences, design, technology, and Indian hospitality’s global potential.
Education:
MBA or equivalent from a top-tier institution preferred.
Personal Attributes:
Proactive, resilient, solutions-oriented, high integrity, and a genuine interest in building something extraordinary.
