Role Summary
The Chief of Staff will act as an extension of the MD’s office to ensure effective execution and follow-up of all strategic and operational decisions. The role will drive accountability, track key initiatives, and ensure cross-functional alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage a central decision tracking system for all key initiatives
- Drive weekly/monthly review cadences with business and functional heads
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of all decisions taken by the MD
- Identify execution bottlenecks and proactively escalate risks
- Coordinate cross-functional projects (capex, operations, quality, cost optimization)
- Prepare dashboards, MIS, and executive summaries for leadership
- Support the MD on strategic initiatives and special projects
- Work closely with plant, procurement, quality, and finance teams to ensure alignment
Key Requirements
- 8–15 years of experience in consulting, FMCG, or manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership, urgency, and ability to push execution
- Strong data skills (Excel, Power BI preferred)
- Prior experience in project/program management is a plus
