RVM CAD is one of India's fastest-growing industrial skilling companies — profitable, investor-backed, and built on a simple promise: free placement for every student and every employer. We train candidates in Mechanical CAD, CNC/VMC, Industrial Automation, Interior Design, and Civil/BIM, and place them into 15,000+ hiring companies. Three operational branches (Faridabad, Pune, Ahmedabad), two launching this year (Lucknow, Patna), 100+ employees, and an organic content engine reaching 10M+ people monthly with near-zero paid marketing.
Our constraint isn't demand — companies approach us daily for hiring. Our constraint is producing skilled people fast enough. The COO's job is to scale that machine.
The Role
You will own day-to-day operations of the entire company so the founder can focus on growth, content, and strategy. All department heads — Operations, Placements, HR, Marketing — will report to you. You are the executor of an already-proven playbook, accountable for making five branches run like one machine.
This is not a strategy role. Strategy sits with the founder. This is an execution and people-management role for someone who loves running operations at scale.
What You'll Own
- Full P&L discipline across all branches — revenue targets, opex control, capacity utilisation
- Managing and developing 4+ department heads and branch leadership across 5 cities
- Branch launch execution — Lucknow and Patna this year, and future cities to a repeatable template
- Capacity-fill at existing branches — admissions throughput, faculty scheduling, student experience
- Cross-branch coordination — placements, admissions, academics running to consistent standards
- Weekly operating rhythm — reviews, dashboards, escalations — so the founder touches operations only at the strategic level
What You Won't Own
- Content and marketing strategy (founder-led — this is our moat)
- Fundraising and capital decisions
- Course/product strategy (driven by senior faculty leads and founder)
Who We're Looking For
- 10–15 years in multi-location operations — education/skilling, healthcare chains, retail, QSR, staffing, or similar branch-led businesses
- Proven record managing 100+ person organisations through department heads, not directly
- Has personally launched or scaled multi-city units to a standard template
- Comfortable in a founder-led company — you execute the vision, challenge it privately, own it publicly
- Hands-on with numbers — you live in dashboards, not decks
- Hindi + English fluency; based in or willing to relocate to Faridabad/NCR

- 5 branches running profitably on one operating system
- Network capacity utilisation pushed to 80%+
- Founder's operational involvement reduced to a weekly review
