Role Description
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will lead all aspects of nursing services within KG Hospital to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing nursing policies and protocols, overseeing nursing staff recruitment, training, and performance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The CNO will also work collaboratively with medical leadership to enhance patient safety and outcomes while driving improvements in nursing practices and clinical operations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Coimbatore Area.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead large nursing teams, strategic planning, staff management, and resource allocation
- Clinical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and hospital operations
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
- Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with medical staff, administration, and multidisciplinary teams
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex healthcare scenarios and implement effective solutions
- Education and Certification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing required, with active nursing licensure; a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or equivalent is an advantage
- Leadership Experience: Significant experience in a senior nursing leadership role, preferably in a multi-specialty hospital
