Role Overview
Pharmint is seeking a highly analytical and performance-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead its digital marketing and customer-acquisition strategy.
The role will primarily focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC), website conversion, and digital lead generation. The CMO will be responsible for building a predictable pipeline of qualified B2B enquiries from pharmaceutical distributors, importers, manufacturers, institutional buyers, and potential partners across Pharmint’s target markets.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate must be capable of developing strategy, managing execution, reviewing campaign data, and continuously improving marketing performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSEO and Organic Growth
- Develop and execute Pharmint’s global SEO strategy.
- Improve the ranking of Pharmint’s website for relevant pharmaceutical export, product, molecule, therapeutic-category, and country-specific keywords.
- Conduct detailed keyword, competitor, market, and search-intent research.
- Build dedicated landing pages for products, therapeutic categories, services, and target countries.
- Lead technical SEO, on-page SEO, internal linking, website architecture, and content optimization.
- Develop an authoritative backlink and digital PR strategy.
- Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and qualified enquiries.
- Ensure all published content is accurate, credible, compliant, and relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Build long-term organic visibility for Pharmint across international markets.
PPC and Performance Marketing
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Manage search, display, remarketing, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Create campaigns targeting pharmaceutical distributors, importers, manufacturers, procurement companies, and institutional buyers.
- Develop country-specific and product-specific campaign strategies.
- Conduct keyword selection, bid management, audience targeting, negative-keyword management, and advertisement testing.
- Continuously improve cost per qualified lead, conversion rate, and return on advertising spend.
- Monitor budgets and ensure marketing expenditure is allocated to the highest-performing markets and campaigns.
- Identify and prevent irrelevant, fraudulent, or low-quality traffic.
- Coordinate landing pages, advertisement copy, forms, and calls to action.
Lead Generation and Conversion
- Build a predictable digital lead-generation system for Pharmint’s international business.
- Establish clear criteria for marketing-qualified and sales-qualified leads.
- Improve website conversion rates through landing-page testing, better messaging, and optimized lead forms.
- Implement lead tracking, attribution, nurturing, and remarketing systems.
- Work closely with sales and business-development teams to assess lead quality and conversion.
- Ensure enquiries are routed promptly to the appropriate country, product, or commercial team.
- Analyze the complete customer journey from first click to commercial opportunity.
- Develop email and digital nurturing campaigns for leads that are not immediately ready to transact.
Content and Market Positioning
- Position Pharmint as a credible global pharmaceutical sourcing, regulatory, and distribution partner.
- Create a content strategy covering pharmaceutical products, regulatory requirements, market-entry insights, supply-chain solutions, and industry developments.
- Oversee the development of product pages, articles, reports, case studies, presentations, and campaign materials.
- Ensure consistent messaging across the website, advertisements, social media, and sales collateral.
- Strengthen Pharmint’s visibility among pharmaceutical companies, distributors, investors, and strategic partners.
- Ensure that all marketing claims comply with applicable pharmaceutical advertising and regulatory requirements.
Marketing Technology and Analytics
- Implement and maintain appropriate marketing and analytics systems, including Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, CRM, call tracking, and conversion tracking.
- Create dashboards covering campaign performance, lead quality, acquisition cost, conversion, and revenue contribution.
- Establish accurate attribution across marketing channels.
- Use data to identify the most attractive products, markets, keywords, and buyer segments.
- Introduce automation where it can improve lead capture, qualification, nurturing, or reporting.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and marketing governance.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Build and manage an effective internal and external marketing team, including SEO specialists, PPC professionals, content writers, designers, and agencies.
- Set clear targets and performance standards for all team members and service providers.
- Work closely with the Founder, sales, regulatory affairs, procurement, operations, and technology teams.
- Translate Pharmint’s commercial priorities into measurable marketing campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget and report regularly on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Establish a test-and-learn culture based on data, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance will be assessed using metrics including:
- Growth in qualified organic traffic
- Improvement in priority keyword rankings
- Number of marketing-qualified and sales-qualified leads
- Cost per qualified lead
- Landing-page and website conversion rates
- PPC return on advertising spend
- Lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-customer conversion rates

Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or growth leadership.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale SEO and PPC campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and SEO platforms.
- Experience building international and multi-market digital acquisition strategies.
- Strong understanding of B2B lead generation and longer sales cycles.
- Ability to distinguish meaningful commercial leads from vanity metrics.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and budget-management skills.
- Experience managing agencies, specialists, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and internationally distributed organization.
- Willingness to remain hands-on with campaigns, dashboards, landing pages, and performance reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, international trade, or another regulated B2B industry.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical distributors, importers, manufacturers, and institutional procurement.
- Experience generating B2B leads across emerging markets.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical advertising restrictions and compliance requirements.
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, conversion-rate optimization, and AI-enabled marketing tools.
- Knowledge of multilingual or international SEO would be an advantage.
