Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) role located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The CISO will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the organization's information security strategy and ensuring the protection of sensitive data. Key responsibilities include managing cybersecurity policies, directing application security initiatives, enforcing best practices in information security management, and developing business continuity plans. The CISO will also oversee risk assessments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated on emerging security threats and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Information Security Management, Information Security, and Cybersecurity
- Experience in Application Security and safeguarding critical data systems
- Strong knowledge of Business Continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies
- Ability to lead and implement organization-wide security policies, procedures, and controls
- Proven experience in assessing risks and adapting strategies to counter emerging threats
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are strongly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Advanced degree preferred
