Client : One of the prominent Multi-use Retail Infrastructure complex which includes a large Million Square Feet Mall.
Role Summary
The CIO will lead the technology and digital agenda for a large, high-footfall retail and entertainment destination.
The role will focus on integrating fragmented operational systems into a unified enterprise ecosystem, strengthening cybersecurity, enabling automation, and driving digital initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems Integration & Data Visibility : Integrate standalone operational systems (parking, gaming, revenue share, facilities, etc.) into a unified ERP ecosystem, enabling real-time dashboards, reporting, and analytics across all functions.
- Automation & Process Efficiency : Drive automation and standardization across finance, operations, leasing, and facilities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Digital & Customer Experience : Lead digital initiatives that enhance customer engagement, improve tenant performance, and support increased footfalls.
- Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Resilience : Strengthen cybersecurity posture and ensure reliable, secure, and business-continuous IT infrastructure.
- IT Operations & Vendor Management : Lead IT teams, manage vendors and contracts, and oversee budgets and service delivery.
- Technology Strategy : Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned to business growth and profitability.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as CIO / Head of IT / Technology Leader in large, complex, customer-facing environments, such as: Large retail malls, Airports, Hospitality or entertainment complexes, Integrated commercial or mixed-use developments
- Strong experience in:
- Enterprise systems integration and ERP environments
- Managing multi-vendor IT ecosystems
- Cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience
- Driving automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Leading technology teams and managing IT budgets
- BE in Electronics/IT/Communications . MBA from good B-school would help
