Job Purpose/ Summary
The
CHRO will lead the people and culture agenda for
Welspun One Private Limited, a
5+ year old operating warehousing and logistics platform, while simultaneously
building HR capability from scratch for the Group’s newly added real estate businesses spanning
commercial and residential assets.
This role requires a senior HR leader who can
manage an existing workforce and operating assets,
professionalize and scale HR systems and
build new-age HR frameworks to support the expansion into broader real estate development. Focus on designing and implementing HR frameworks aligned with the Group while incorporating the specific business nuances of the business.
The incumbent must bring hands-on experience in
real estate / logistics parks / infrastructure environments, with a proven ability to operate in
both steady state and Greenfield modes.

HR Strategy & Business IntegrationDefine and execute a unified HR strategy that supports both the existing warehousing/logistics parks business and the new real estate verticals.Partner with the CEO and leadership team to align people strategy with short-term operational excellence and long-term real estate growth.Drive HR transformation from an execution-focused setup to a scalable, institutionalized people platform.Support expansion across multiple geographies, assets and project stages. Organization Design & Workforce PlanningReview, strengthen, and optimize organization structures for the existing warehousing operations.Design new organization structures from scratch for upcoming commercial and residential real estate businesses.Lead workforce planning across the full real estate lifecycle development, construction, leasing, asset management and operations.Build succession and leadership pipelines for critical roles across both businesses. Compliance, Labor & Workforce GovernanceEnsure compliance with all labor laws, statutory requirements and employment regulations across states.Manage contract labor, site HR governance, and vendor manpower practices for warehousing and construction sites.Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.Ensure compliance across operating entities, SPVs, and new project companies.Own and oversee site labour compliance tracking across projects. HR Team LeadershipBuild a strong HR leadership bench capable of supporting both mature operations and green field projects.Up skill the HR team to move from transactional support to strategic business partnership.Ensure consistent employee experience while allowing flexibility for different business needs.
