Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kundli, Haryana Sonepat for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The CHRO will lead global HR strategies to drive organizational success, ensure compliance with HR policies, and foster a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities include overseeing talent acquisition, developing employee relations strategies, managing performance frameworks, and enhancing workforce engagement. The CHRO will collaborate with other senior executives and stakeholders to align HR initiatives with the company’s goals and values.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business growth and operational goals.
- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team on organizational development and workforce planning.
- Drive transformation initiatives including culture building and change management.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Design manpower planning strategies for plant, engineering, sales, and corporate functions.
- Ensure timely hiring of skilled manpower including engineers, technicians, and leadership roles.
- Build talent pipelines for critical and niche roles in manufacturing and industrial operations.
Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Establish robust performance management systems (KPIs, KRAs, appraisals).
- Drive leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Implement organizational structuring and role clarity across departments.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Foster a positive work culture aligned with company values and ethics.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives across shop floor and corporate levels.
- Address employee grievances and build strong communication channels.
Compensation & Benefits

- Implement incentive schemes for plant productivity and sales performance.
- Ensure internal equity and cost optimization.
Industrial Relations (IR) & Compliance
- Manage industrial relations, union interactions (if applicable), and labor issues.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and factory norms.
- Handle disciplinary actions, disputes, and legal matters related to workforce.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs across technical and behavioral competencies.
- Implement skill development programs for shop floor employees and engineers.
- Promote continuous learning culture and capability building.
HR Operations & Systems
- Oversee HR operations including payroll, attendance, HRIS, and documentation.
- Digitize HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure accurate reporting and HR analytics for decision-making.
Health, Safety & Workplace Environment
- Promote safety culture in coordination with EHS teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and employee well-being initiatives.

Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
- Additional certifications in labor laws or organizational development preferred
- Proven expertise in Human Resources (HR) functions, with deep understanding of strategic HR planning and organizational development.
- Proficiency in creating, implementing, and managing HR Policies and workforce strategies.
- Strong background in Employee Relations, with skills in developing healthy workplace cultures and resolving workplace conflicts.
- Experience in Talent Management, including hiring strategies, succession planning, and employee development programs.
- Solid knowledge in Performance Management frameworks, including performance reviews and continuous improvement processes.
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a senior or executive HR position, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Experience
- 15–25 years of experience in HR, preferably in industrial equipment / machinery manufacturing industry
- Minimum 5–8 years in a senior leadership role (Head HR / CHRO level)
- Strong exposure to plant HR, IR, and multi-location workforce management
