Role Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will head the Accounts & Finance Division and be responsible for the overall financial management, strategic planning, accounting operations, compliance, taxation, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting of the organization. The CFO will play a key leadership role in driving financial discipline, profitability, internal controls, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
- Lead and manage the entire Accounts & Finance function of the company
- Develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Advise management on financial planning, business expansion, investments, and risk management
- Drive profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency
Accounting & Financial Control
- Oversee:
- General Accounting
- Finalization of Accounts
- Financial Statements
- MIS Reporting
- Cash Flow Management
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting systems
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- Income Tax
- GST
- TDS
- ROC compliances
- Companies Act
- FEMA and other statutory regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Handle tax assessments, audits, and notices
Treasury & Banking
- Manage banking relationships and working capital
- Monitor fund flow, liquidity, and cash management
- Handle financial arrangements, credit facilities, and treasury operations
- Optimize utilization of company funds and resources
Strategic & Business Advisory
- Support management in strategic decision-making
- Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and expansion plans
- Lead financial due diligence, restructuring, and fundraising activities
- Provide commercial and financial insights to business heads
Audit & Internal Controls
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and government authorities
- Strengthen internal control systems and compliance frameworks
- Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of audit observations
Team Leadership
- Head and mentor the Accounts & Finance team
- Build a high-performance finance culture
- Ensure proper delegation, monitoring, and team development
Qualification & Experience
Mandatory Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Skills: SAP ERP/ S4 HANA
Experience
- 10–20 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance
- Minimum 7 years in a senior finance leadership role
- Experience in handling complete finance operations independently
