Role Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key strategic partner to the Managing Director and the Board, responsible for shaping the financial future of Vastu Vihar. This role demands an astute financial leader who can drive sustainable business growth, ensure robust financial governance, and build scalable financial infrastructure to support the company's ambitious expansion plans in the building materials and construction technology sector
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Strategy & Business Partnership
• Accounting, Compliance & Controls
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
• Taxation & Regulatory Affairs
• Risk Management & Corporate Governance
• Team Leadership & Development
Required Qualifications:
• MBA (Finance) in addition to CA
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Tally Prime, or Zoho.
Experience:
• Senior Leadership 10+ Years (5+ Years in CFO or equivalent senior finance role) post-qualification experience in finance and accounts
• CA (Chartered Accountant) — mandatory qualification
• At least 5 years in a CFO or Finance Head role
Key Competencies & Attributes:
• Strategic financial acumen with the ability to connect financial data to business outcomes
• Strong leadership presence; ability to influence and partner with non-finance stakeholders
• High integrity and ethical standards essential for a leadership role at Vastu Vihar
• Excellent command of financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical tools
• Effective communicator — capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to the Board
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the agility to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or comparable ERP/accounting platforms
• Strong understanding of the Eastern India business landscape and regulatory environment
