Position Summary:
As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in shaping Condor Footwear’s financial strategy, improving operational and capital efficiency, and supporting key decision-making with deep financial insights. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, risk management, internal controls, budgeting, reporting, and treasury functions while fostering a high-performance culture within the finance team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s corporate financial strategy aligned with long-term goals.
- Partner with the CEO and Board of Directors to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions.
- Drive business value by increasing gross margins, improving profitability, and optimizing capital structure.
2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analytics
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
- Conduct forward-looking financial analysis to support operational decisions.
- Provide insights into cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and investment decisions.
3. Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal audits, and compliance.
- Ensure timely preparation of P&L, balance sheets, MIS reports, and board presentations.
- Implement robust internal control systems for financial integrity and operational transparency.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow and capital allocation in a leveraged environment.
- Develop cash management policies and optimize the use of financial vehicles.
- Forecast daily/weekly gross profit and maintain liquidity buffers.
5. Risk Management & Governance
- Establish and monitor financial risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize tax liabilities through effective tax planning and structuring.
6. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance and accounts team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Attract and retain top talent to scale the finance function.
7. External Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, suppliers, auditors, and government bodies.
- Structure, negotiate, and finalize key financial and purchase agreements.
- Represent the company in key financial negotiations and strategic alliances.

- Strategic and commercial acumen

- In-depth knowledge of Indian and global accounting standards
- Proficiency in SAP HANA, and financial analytics tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications:
- CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
- Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, export, or retail sectors
- Experience in managing multi-channel businesses and global supply chains is a plus
