About MII Foundation
The Incubation Program at MII Foundation is designed for startups with scalable and sustainable product or service ideas, offering a comprehensive support system that includes valuable expertise, technological support, investor access, market entry assistance, and extensive networking opportunities. Through a robust network of mentors providing sector-specific and domain-specific guidance, startups can develop a scalable business strategy, create a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP), establish a market-ready and sustainable revenue model, and qualify for seed stage funding. The program encompasses rigorous training, business consultation, and milestone-driven incubation support to ensure startups receive the necessary handholding to thrive and succeed.
Key Result Areas (KRA) – CEO of Incubation Company (Section 8)
1. Strategic Growth & Ecosystem Development
Drive the long-term vision and positioning of the incubation ecosystem by building a high-impact network of startups, industry collaborators, mentors, investors, government bodies, and innovation partners aligned with national and global innovation priorities.
2. Startup Pipeline & Venture Development
Ensure continuous sourcing, evaluation, incubation, and acceleration of high-potential startups emerging from students, faculty, alumni, and external founders, with focus on scalability, innovation depth, and market relevance.

3. Innovation Commercialization & IP Enablement
Create systems that convert research, student projects, and innovative ideas into intellectual property, prototypes, funded projects, products, or viable ventures.

4. Funding, Grants & Revenue Mobilization
Lead institutional efforts towards securing grants, CSR support, innovation funding, government schemes, sponsorships, and strategic financial partnerships to strengthen incubator sustainability and startup support capacity.
5. National Visibility & Institutional Brand Building
Position the incubator and university among leading innovation ecosystems through rankings, collaborations, conferences, startup showcases, policy engagement, media visibility, and participation in flagship national/international programs.
6. Industry & Government Relations
Build strong working relationships with ministries, corporates, accelerators, investors, innovation councils, and ecosystem enablers to create meaningful opportunities for startups and institutional growth.
7. Student & Faculty Innovation Culture
Develop a campus-wide culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through structured programs, hackathons, innovation challenges, mentorship frameworks, startup awareness initiatives, and interdisciplinary engagement.
8. Operational Governance & Ecosystem Management
Ensure efficient operational management of the incubation center, including policy implementation, compliance, program execution, reporting, stakeholder management, and development of scalable internal systems and processes.
9. Outcome Measurement & Impact Creation
Track and improve measurable ecosystem outcomes across startup growth, investments, employment generation, innovation output, partnerships, and institutional impact.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- MBA
- 10+ years' experience in business related field
