Role Description The Chief Embryologist is a full-time, on-site role based at the India IVF & Fertility Clinic headquarters in Noida. This role oversees all laboratory operations, including IVF, ICSI (including Robo-ICSI), embryo culture, cryopreservation, and quality control to ensure high success rates and regulatory compliance. The Chief Embryologist leads and mentors the embryology and andrology teams, sets laboratory protocols and SOPs, and collaborates closely with clinicians to design individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include supervising gamete handling, monitoring laboratory equipment and conditions, validating new technologies, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting clinical audits and accreditation requirements. The role also contributes to training programs, research initiatives, and continuous improvement of lab workflows and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
MSC IN CLINICAL EMBRYOLOGY
Minimum 10 Yrs experience as a Sr Embryologist
CTC: 24-36 lakhs PA
- Strong laboratory skills in reproductive biology and embryology, including handling gametes and embryos, culture systems, and cryopreservation.
- Extensive hands-on experience in in vitro fertilization (IVF) and related ART procedures, including ICSI and advanced embryology techniques.
- Solid foundation in reproductive medicine and assisted reproduction, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians on treatment planning.
- Competence in andrology, including semen analysis, preparation, and male-factor fertility procedures.
- Master’s or higher degree in Clinical Embryology, Reproductive Biology, or a related life science field; recognized embryology certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead embryologist position within high-volume IVF centers, preferably with exposure to quality frameworks and accreditation standards.
- Proficiency in laboratory quality management, data recording, and use of digital lab and clinic information systems.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with a focus on ethical, patient-centered care.
