ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Manager- Compliance, you will be a strategic architect of the company's governance framework, ensuring our operations remain robust in an evolving regulatory landscape.
This dual-hatted role includes the critical appointment as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for the company where you will serve as the primary custodian of regulatory integrity for our insurance business. You will collaborate at the intersection of Legal, Business, and Risk teams to balance ambitious business growth with uncompromising compliance standards.
We are looking for a leader with a deep mastery of insurance regulations, exceptional stakeholder influence, and the agility to institutionalize structured processes.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor regulatory updates applicable to the company and to ensure alignment with applicable laws and guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and review policies to maintain up-to-date compliance procedures across the organization. Maintain accurate documentation and prepare timely, detailed reports for both internal leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Support training programs to raise awareness of compliance requirements and embed best practices among employees.
- Assist in risk assessments and audits to proactively identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements. Participate in investigations related to compliance issues and prepare comprehensive reports with insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate communication with regulators and ensure timely submission of required filings and responses.
- Promote a culture of compliance by engaging stakeholders through regular communication and maintaining alignment on key priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- An advanced degree in Law, CA, or CS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations of IRDAI and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with regulators such as IRDAI is desirable.
- Minimum experience of 10 years in the Insurance industry
BUDGET:
Manager: Upto 30 Lakhs + ESOPs
Senior Manager: Upto 50 Lakhs + ESOPs
